A Photographer’s Life – Part Three – Portrait

The volume is a collection of the complete images from Brian’s major exhibition in 2025 … ‘A Photographer’s Life – Part Three – Portrait’.  The acclaimed exhibition ran for six weeks at the heritage listed Mulgrave Gallery in Cairns. The work follows on from Brian’s earlier collections … ‘A Photographer’s Life – Part One’ & ‘A Photographer’s Life – Part Two’,  that documented his several decades long career as a photojournalist and the changing landscape of the photographic media industry. Both earlier collections were exhibited in Sydney (2017  & 2022) and Cairns (2017 & 2021).

‘Part Three’ concentrates on the more recent trend in media photography towards the use of portraits … and features the best of his recent portraiture from across Australia and overseas. 

Many of the images in the collection have been recognised in awards Internationally and around Australia.
